McClure Rainbows
Well we finally made a trip to McClure on Tuesday the 30th of December.
We did not get to early of a start, as we started fishing around 8:30 in the morning and it only took a couple of minutes to get our first fish in the boat and that is the way the rest of the day went fish after fish having a blast catching and releasing fish and we ended up keeping 20 fish and we released 10 others and we also lost a few.
Most of the fish were planters and a few were nice fish close to two pounds, if you are looking for good action for kids now is the time to take them fishing!

Tulloch Rainbows
Fishing for Rainbows at Tulloch was outstanding on Thursday the 18Th.
The weather however was a bone chilling 28 degrees with a breeze blowing fog over the lake that sure made the frost appear on the side of the boat and lines and rods just to remind us of how cold it was!
The fishing was great! with three fish in the first 15 minutes of the morning, as we had no problem catching Two limits of Trout before 11:00 O'clock keeping the ones we wanted and releasing some of the smaller ones, bait was the best set-up of the day, as we neared our limits I wanted to try some new lures to me that required some different fishing techniques that proved to be successful.
Happy Holidays

Fished Tommy Farr of Denair today 12-03-8 for good results!
We Kept Five Rainbows and released four others to fight another day and we also had some stikes that just did not stick, some nice fish with fall colors and to a little over two pounds.
Best set-ups were Vances Slim Willies and Crawlers on the surface and shad at depths to about 12 to 17 feet deep.
Conditions were good with high fog that kept the sun at bay for most of the day keeping the fish shallow.
Water levels are dropping and not sure how long we will be able to launch a boat.
